You have to complete a 2 step registration process to get a Canada Apprentice Loan online service account. The Canada Apprentice Loan online service will ask you to provide your:
- first and last name;
- Social Insurance Number;
- date of birth;
- apprenticeship registration number; and
- email address.
When you have completed the registration process, you will receive an email to verify your account. If you do not receive an account verification email, you can request a new one on the Register page.
If you try to activate your account after the expiry date shown during your registration process, you will get an error message. You can request a new account verification email on the Register page.

Forgotten or misplaced your username and/or password
Contact us immediately, if you believe that the username and password you entered were correct.

If you have forgotten your password, you can create a new password, provided you respond correctly to one of the security questions you selected and answered when you registered.
You got an error message
You may have tried to enter your information when the Canada Apprentice Loan online service was not available. If you continue to have difficulties, please contact us.
You are locked out of your account
If you tried to enter your information more than 3 times and you were not successful you will be locked out of your account. If you have been locked out of your account, please contact us
You got an error message saying that your session has expired
If your account is inactive for more than 30 minutes, your session will automatically end.
